Mr Yang has been appointed chairman of the board of Adama as of October 2011. Mr. Yang also serves as President of China National Chemical Corporation since 2014. Prior to this role, he served as President of China National BlueStar (Group) Corporation and Chairman of Adisseo and BSI in France and Qenos in Australia, BlueStar’s overseas subsidiaries. As a senior engineer, Mr. Yang received his education in chemistry from Sichuan University.

Mr An is Senior Vice President, China Cluster, of the combined company. Prior to his current role, he served as the secretary of the CPC and chairman of CNAC (China National Agrochemical Corporation), and has led the HH and Anpon entities, which are part of the ChemChina group. Mr An holds an MBA and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and a B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry, all from Nanjing University.

Mr Lichtensetin​ is the President and CEO of the Combined Company. He holds joint doctoral degrees from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and School of Law, and B.Sc. (Physics) and LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Tang is the former President of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), having served there also as Professor. He has been a member of several professional accounting bodies in China, including the Accounting Standards Committee of the Ministry of Finance, the Auditing Standards Committee of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Accounting Society of Shanghai, and served as a partner in Ernst & Young. Dr. Tang has served, and continues to serve, as an independent non-executive director in a number of companies listed on the Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock exchanges, including Ping An Insurance, Tung Kong, Jiangsu Zhongnan Construction, Shanghai Bairun Flavour & Fragrance, and China National Building Material Company. Dr. Tang holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in Economics from SUFE, as well as an undergraduate degree in accounting from the Shanghai College of Finance and Economics.

Dr. Xi is Cheung Kong Scholar of Pesticide Science of the Ministry of Education, Chairman of Department of Chemical Biology, Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Fellow of the University Committee of Nankai University in China, and Director of the National Pesticide Engineering Research Center (Tianjin). Dr. Xi has held various posts in academic institutions in both China and the US, including at Harvard Medical School, the Wuhan University School of Medicine, the Beijing Institute of Chemical Reagents, and Nankai University. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Chinese Chemical Society, the Chinese Chemical Industry and Engineering Society, and the Chinese Society for Crop Protection. In addition, Dr. Xi is a member of the board of directors of Suzhou Ribo Life Science. Dr. Xi holds a Doctorate in Bio-organic Chemistry from Uppsala University in Sweden, a Master's degree from Institute of Elemental Organic Chemistry of Nankai University and an undergraduate degree from Central China Normal University.
