Edgardo Iglesias, VP North America

These, together with a good product strategy, being close to growers, and knowing how to identify opportunities, are the cornerstones of our success.”


As VP of North America, Edgardo heads up ADAMA operations in the US and Canada, with executive responsibility for the operations, marketing, product strategy, regulatory, and finance- and people-related activities in the region.


Throughout his career, Edgardo has consistently taken an approach to management that is strategic and rigorous, while also encouraging teams to dare to innovate.


Edgardo brings more than 24 years of experience in the crop protection industry, including twenty years with ADAMA. Prior to his current role he served as the General Manager of the Andean Region business cluster covering Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, and was also the region’s CFO for the company. Prior to joining ADAMA Edgardo was with American Cyanamid.


He holds a BA in Economics and an MA in Economics and Economic Development, both from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, with the latter through a program led jointly with the UK’s University of Cambridge.


During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and he is an enthusiastic golfer and an avid reader.
